Jill Mitchell

Senior Consultant

Jill has over 25 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, providing pension, group benefits, and administrative solutions. Goal-driven and proactive, Jill excels in executing business plans for delivering plan benefits and services to clients. During her career, she has developed a solid project management style while providing guidance in the area of annual renewals and financial statements.

Jill currently manages assignments involving group benefits and pension plan design including tailoring reporting requirements specific to each client. Prior to joining Burke and Company in 2016, Jill worked as an Account Executive for Manulife Financial where she was accountable for managing a customer portfolio in excess of $120 million in annual benefit premiums.

Prior to working in insurance, Jill was a consultant at a global human resource outsourcing and consulting firm, specializing in flex re-pricing, renewals, and assisting with data management for actuarial valuations.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Guelph and has been a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans since 2001. She is currently pursuing her CEBS designation with an expected completion date in 2023.
